My dear fashionistas, summer is here and so we almost every day wear sunglasses. We do it to protect from UV, but also for aesthetic reasons. I have invited fashion stylist George Enache to explain how should we choose the right sunglasses depending on the shape of our face.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT LENSES

The lenses are very important and we should take this detail in consideration when we decide to buy sunglasses. The fabric of the lenses makes the difference and the quality protects of affects the health of our eyes. I suggest you choose glass lenses, thought more expensive, compared to the plastic ones. The glass provides a superior visual quality and is more resistant to scratches.

Another aspect is the color of the lenses. The black ones are for temporal usage. This is what the specialists say also.

“We should not make a habit in wearing black or dark sunglasses. We should use them more seldom”, says Monica Pop.

Therefore, you might choose colored lenses, even those in more shades, as long as they are not very dark. Do not forget about UV filter, which should be 4 or more. The sunglasses sold on the streets do not protect you. Pay attention to your health more than on their beauty.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT FRAME

The design is not the only detail we should take in consideration when buying sunglasses, but also the shape of our face.

HEART SHAPED FACE

In this case you should concentrat on the up side of the sunglasses. Cat eye frames or thick on the upper side and thinner on the lower side sunglasses are recommended. Avoid oversized sunglasses because you will seem to have almost the entire face covered.
