PINNER TEST

My dears, as you know, I am really concerned about nutrition and I’m trying to eat healthy and correctly most of the time. I said this thing before and I repeat: a percentage between 60-90% of raw aliments is the best for combining with little pleasures. Besides all this, it’s important to know that there are aliments that can harm you even if they are healthy if you have a specific intolerance. Well, I tried these days the PINNER TEST, which is the most recent test for finding out your food intolerances, launched even in the United States with the approval of FDA (Food and Drug Administration). After taking it I received some very useful recommendations which I want to share with you in order to show you how important  correct nutrition is. For me it’s clear that you can’t feed yourself healthily until you find out the exact aliments that you have an intolerance for.

Basically, the test shows on a red column the aliments that I have high intolerance for and which I should cut out of my diet for a while, and on a yellow column the ones I should eat with moderation.

I discovered this way that my body cannot absorb the nutrients from lamb and beef meat. So my doctor’s recommendation was not to consume anything prepared with such meat and to replace it with fish, chicken or eco turkey to benefit at the same time from the nutritional intake which I would have from lamb or beef for a few months and then gradually introduce them in my diet at the doctor’s recommendation.

The part about the meat didn’t affect me much, but the test showed that I also have tomatoes intolerance, which was a great shot for me, because I like tomatoes very much. Last summer I discovered a bio farm from where I took whole boxes of cherry tomatoes, which I used to ate like candy. My doctor’s advice was not to eat tomatoes for a while because my immune system reacts to them, and that doesn’t benefit me and I have to replace them with red pepper or pepper broth. That’s going to be the hardest thing.

I also have to eat watermelon instead of tomatoes (which is really difficult in the winter), because it contains a large quantity of lycopene. Shortly, my doctor’s recommendations were: not to eat tomatoes, zucchini and beef for two months, to avoid chestnuts and lamb for two months and not to eat peas for six months. On the yellow column of the Pinner Test was rosemary, saffron and cow milk which I have to include in my menu no more than twice a week.

But don’t imagine that after this test I will never eat those aliments I have intolerance for ever again! No way! It’s just about being cautious for a while, to follow the specialist’s advice and to avoid some products for some months and to consume others with modetation. The idea of the Pinner Test is to show you the aliments you have an intolerance for and following correctly the doctor’s recommendations, then after a period of detoxification you can introduce them gradually back in your diet, but with no excesses.

Wish me luck!

What happened when you cut out the allergens for those few months? Did you notice less brain fog, more energy, less sleepiness, fewer skin rashes, less itchy skin, fewer GI symptoms (such as gas, bloating, loose stools), weight loss – ???
