Two weekends long, Ploiesti Shopping City was the host of the bloggers who tried to discover what can a mall outside Bucharest offer. All the activities were part of the Fashion & Beauty Corner program. And because shopping is more fun when you have company, I teamed up with Silvia Postolatiev and we went to explore. We tried to experiment a little of everything, to make a fair ideea about their list of stores and entertainment possibilities.
We started our day with a make-up at Sephora, where we discovered the new Benefit mascara, but some other interesting products also. Of course we asked the lady that did our make-up a lot of questions, to find out her prefferences regarding make-up and care products. I always do that when I work with people who have experience, because each time I find out new things.
I was really happy to discover that they have Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull&Bear, H&M, Koton etc, but also Romanian brands which I like, as Poema. I also saw brands I’ve never heard about.
We stepped by Otter, Splend’or, Sensiblu, we were to the pool and bowling area, but unfortunatelly we only had time to play a little pool. Silvia and me promised, though, that next time we’re in Ploiesti we’ll try a competition.
At lunch, because both of us are Paul fans, we chose to eat there. I admit that their raspberry tart is one of my greatest weaknesses and I usually try to stay away, but this time it was a culinary debauchery. I tried a raspberry croissant of which I didn’t know and which was absolutely delicious, and two sun-flower seeds croissants, which I’ve never seen in other Paul locations. I told you, it was crazy.
After lunch we relaxed at Caffeol coffee shop, and me, of course, I ordered a black tea with milk because I don’t drink coffee.
We watched some presentations of the actual collections from the shops, we said what we liked and what we didn’t, we talked to the ladies who got spoiled free at Fashion& Beauty Corner, and then we realized it’s time to go home.
It was seven in the evening. Unfortunatelly, we didn’t manage to see everything, we didn’t have time for a movie, but I’ll definitely go again some day. I make 30 minutes by car to Ploiesti, as much as I make to the center of Bucharest.
And I forgot to tell you that Bogdan Stoica kept us company the whole day, to take our pictures, of course.
