How to get back in shape after the holidays

During this period, after the holidays, we hear more and more about how to get back in shape and how the fastest solution is detox. Well, let me tell your that this detox is often misunderstood. For many, it means eating everything they can today and, tomorrow, for 3-5 days, consume only juice. And that's it! Then return to the disorganized eating habits of before. I believe this approach is more harmful to the body than not doing at all. Our body has a memory and, over time, gets used to our habits. When we suddenly decide to eat healthy for a short period of time, it gets confused. A detox should be a restart to another kind of lifestyle and our...

Banana Milkshake

Welcome back to my kitchen. Today I want to show you a simple, nourishing & delicious recipe: banana milkshake. I know at first sight it seems a basic recipe, but what I do and want to get you used to do the same, is to add superfoods in almost everything you consume. Why? Because these ingredients,  in very small quantities bring you a fantastic nutrients intake without calories,  a problem which is on everybody’s mind,  who is interested in a healthy lifestyle.Like I said in the video,  I hope soon, if time will be on my part, what superfoods I have and use in my home. A week of fasting with healthy and delicious raw products

For some years now I try to eat meat and animal products as little as possible. Currently, almost 70 % of my daily alimentation consists of vegan products. I’ve done a lot of research for understanding this lifestyle, in order to know which aliments are beneficial and in which combinations. What is more, I learned and experimented new recipes which are not just healthy, but also tasty. Raw vegan or raw gourmet, the way we have it at Rawyal Brunch and Cakes, means the transition from unhealthy food, tasty only because of the additives and flavor enhancers, to green, natural, raw food, directly from the nature. This doesn’t mean only vegetables and fruit, but also a series of natural aliments which, combined...

Cashew sour cream

I’ve been trying to find a way to replace cheese, yogurt and sour cream for a while. Not totally, but in a 70-80% proportion. I don’t know if you know this, but cheese is harder to digest than meat and that’s why I’m trying to avoid it. Even though, from time to time I get a craving for cheese and tomatoes. Today I managed to find a very good recipe for sour cream. I’m still working on that for yogurt and cheese. Raw sour cream is made of cashew(caju).    You will need: 250g of cashew Half a lemon’s juice One spoon of Himalaya salt One spoon of apple vinegar Around 150 ml of waterPut the cashew in water for four hours of soaking,...

Raw chocolate mousse

I know that this may seem strange to many, but I’m not a fan of chocolate and yes, I know I’m one of the lucky ones, because many people adore this dessert. So it’s one less pleasure for me. But from time to time it’s good to make an exception.Today I’m going to give you something to enjoy. I tested a new recipe which turned out to be really good. I ate the mousse, I liked it, but it’s not something I would eat every day. But for the chocolate lovers it’s definitelly a delice so I’m going to share the recipe.I peeled one avocado and a banana, I put them in the blender and I...

SMOOTHIE IN TWO COLORS

My dears, I know that lately I didn’t have time to post recipes that I’ve tried, but I promise to get back to a daily basis. Even when I don’t post on the blog, you can find inspiration on my Facebook and Instagram pages or directly on our raw-vegan boutique’s page @rawlife or www.rawyal.ro.    Today I’ll show you a simple recipe, which I make when I want something good to drink which can even replace a meal, prefferable the breakfast. It’s a three fuit smoothie: banana, mango and raspberries. You mix three bananas with a mango in the blender until they turn into pasta. You put the combination in a glass, but keep a litte in the blender to mix it...
