Autumn at LEM’S

lems
I’m not a huge fan of American celebrations and Halloween is not an exception. However, I love pumpkins both for decorating the house and for cooking because they strongly empower the idea of autumn. Earthy shades, warm colors, but especially orange shade get me in the atmosphere of this gorgeous season. These days the Lem's team asked me to join a creativity game in their showroom. I accepted the challenge to decorate three rooms in my own way. So I chose two kitchens and one living room which remind me of my own house design. Shades of orange along with strong chromatics like red or black which I chose to complete by putting all kinds of pumpkins. To...

Stylish outfits inspired by the new fall collection of Humanic

I have to admit that for me, fall, is the best time to experiment with my favorite colours like camel, burgundy and browny shades which perfectly match with nature and trends. Besides the orientation to the autumn colours, when the temperature drops, I have to do a special shopping session dedicated to shoes. I told you many times that I am crazy about accessories and shoes is the first thing I pick when I start to create a new outfit.Speaking of shoes, I have discovered a new collection from Humanic for this fall which will definitely be my new obsession, because it's so versatile and it blends with ease a lot of styles. As you have seen in my...

My top 5 summer dresses

h&m dress
Hello dear ones! I’m back from my latest holiday- at the seaside, of course-, and my head is still thinking about sun, sea and sand. But aren’t we all dreaming about summertime lounging by the pool every day? I know for sure I am. One of the things I love most about summer besides relaxing all day long with a cocktail by my side, is that the dress code loosens up, becomes more permissive and colourful. I love wearing clothes that are fluid and loose, and that bring out my best features. And because I'm being asked so often about what I like to wear on hot weather and how I love to wear my dresses, I decided...

Hello, my dear ones! I’m back with new and exciting news, and it’s all about my latest collaboration with the Meli Melo brand – an accessory brand that I like a lot. The shop had a great impact on all Meli Melo fans, designers and us – the ones who contributed to creating a special place that...

10 days of adventure in Costa Rica – part II

Costa Rica
After a rich breakfast in Selina we went off to Tamarindo, another famous beach in Costa Rica. On our way there we discovered a huge pineapple plantation, another gorgeous beach and a restaurant where we had the best fish ever - La Ostra, located right on the side of the road.As a result to all these pit stops we made it to Tamarindo pretty late at night, and encountered some pouring rain and an electricity blackout in the whole region. Pretty of bad news for a fresh welcome, right? Anyways, I grabbed my hand luggage in one hand and the flashlight in the other and made my way through inside our Selina Hotel accommodation. I wasn’t however very...

A relaxing dream weekend at Ana Aslan Spa

Hello my dear ones! I don’t know about you but my body is here and my mind somewhere else.. far, far away - on a beach to be more exact, surrounded by palm trees, hot sands and crystal-clear waters. But instead I’m right here in front of my laptop, preparing to tell you the story of my past weekend. The reason I got into this vacation slash chill mode is the weekend I’ve spent by the seaside one week ago, that came at the perfect time, after a kind of chaotic past period for me. So as soon as I saw the opportunity, I took it, and I couldn’t be more pleased about it! Hence my sunny,...

10 days of adventure in Costa Rica – part I

selina hostel, manuel antonio, costa rica
And when I say adventure you have to believe me. From lost airplanes, stolen luggage to falling out of the rafting boat. But let's start with the beginning. After a white night I embarked on the Bucharest - Amsterdam - Atlanta - San Jose route prepared to endure the 23 hours of flight and stopovers. Only that the 23 hours extended for another 14 hours, because Atlanta airport security is something like the walking of a snail, so we lost the flight to San Jose and had to wait until the next day to board the next flight.Photos by Rares PulbereWhen I felt the warmth of Costa Rica, I knew I was on vacation. We went to Alamo,...

How to spend for 4 days in Budapest – part II

budapest, aria hotels
My darlings, I promised you in the last article that we will continue together the adventure through Budapest. I’ll tell you again: I like to indulge myself. But it looks like the team over at Madison Perfumery, know that too. How? The exclusive perfumery did not limit to our country and open a place in Budapest where you can also receive cosmetic treatments. I was delighted to accept the invitation and enjoy an extraordinary facial treatment. But I couldn’t leave empty handed and of course I bought the newest Kilian perfume that became my favorite. But the shopping session wasn’t over. I could not miss the most famous shopping street in Budapest. The Andrassy Route is known by locals as the...

How to spend 4 days in Budapest

Budapest The Parliament
I love to travel and yes, I dream that someday under my job description, there will be traveler also. I have told you so far about Palau, Panama, Israel, and other distant destinations that I have checked. Today I want to take you with me on a short trip, but full of beautiful experiences.Where? To Budapest. The flight is too short, so I chose to drive up there, especially since I like any road trip where be myself taking the wheel. The road was beautiful and I was happy to be able to see our country. Even though some drivers hate to cross Romania driving, I'm the kind of person who enjoys the road and so I arrived...
